Rockstar officially lists both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, so Series S owners are not shut out.
Microsoft positions Series X for 4K gaming and Series S for 1440p. That does not guarantee a particular GTA VI resolution or frame rate; final game-specific modes matter more than generic console targets.
Choose Series X if you use a 4K TV and value image quality or discs. Choose Series S if price is the priority and digital-only ownership works for you.
