GTA 6 limited-edition PS5 controllers
Sony has announced two official Grand Theft Auto VI DualSense controllers: Black Limited Edition and White Limited Edition. Both launch November 19 with a recommended US price of $84.99.
Do not pay a large reseller premium. The standard DualSense still provides the same core haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and PS5 compatibility.
Black Limited Edition
Nighttime Vice City styling with a dark finish, color-shifting details, molded palm trees and GTA VI branding.
- Recommended price: $84.99
- Launch: November 19
- PlayStation Direct exclusive where available
- Select retailers in other regions
White Limited Edition
Daybreak-inspired styling with white-sand and pastel colors, plus the same color-shifting finish, palm details and GTA VI branding.
- Recommended price: $84.99
- Launch: November 19
- PlayStation Direct and participating retailers
- Availability varies by country
Limited-edition listings can attract third-party resellers. Compare the final price with Sony’s $84.99 recommended US price and verify delivery, returns and seller ratings.
Is the GTA 6 controller worth buying?
It makes sense for collectors or anyone who already needs another PS5 controller. It is not required for GTA 6, and Sony has not announced exclusive gameplay features locked to these designs. If your current controller works, keeping it is the cheapest option.
Does it work with every PS5?
Yes. These are DualSense wireless controllers for PS5. The special edition changes the exterior design; it does not require a special GTA 6 console. GTA 6 itself is also announced for Xbox Series X|S, but these DualSense models are PlayStation controllers.
If the limited edition is sold out
A regular DualSense provides the same core controls. Compare colors and sellers, and avoid buying anything you do not need purely because stock is limited.
