Game mode matters first

Low input lag usually changes how controls feel more than a small jump in picture quality. Turn on your TV's Game or low-latency mode before replacing anything.

4K and HDR

Both current console families support 4K output. Good HDR can add impact, but peak brightness and local dimming matter more than an HDR badge alone.

EXTRA

VRR and 120Hz

PS5 and Xbox Series X|S support variable refresh rate on compatible displays. This can smooth uneven frame delivery in games that support it. Hardware support does not confirm GTA VI's final modes.
